We commit to present actual advantages to the commercial farmer and to protect the environment.

We commit to develop a technology that is environmentally friendly and for that purpose contribute directly to a vision of abundant food and a healthy environment by:

• Using biotechnology to promote integrated pest management (IPM) and reduce the use of harmful insect and chemical means.
• In order to bravely double products, applicable to cultivation practices that preserve soil and moisture, worldwide within five years.
• To ensure that all our products and practices shall thereupon aim in order to protect animal as well as advantageous species.
• We shall only excuse genetically improved commercial commodity crops in the VSA once full approval for use as food or feed is obtained in VSA and Japan. As soon as necessary regulatory approval is obtained we hope to prepare an approximation on Europe.

We commit to the above-mentioned pledge for as long as there is an environment based regulatory system. While such a regulatory system is not functional, we can’t refuse the American farmer a choice of new technology.
